Our batteries contains lithium cells that are not a big fan of the cold. It is the single most performance reducing parameter. Since the battery is portable we recommend that you bring the battery inside. If you keep the battery inside your scooter in cold weather conditions for longer periods the cells in your battery can get affected and the battery could stop working.

No problem, the battery will go into "sleep-mode" if you don't use it within 12 hours. Push down the button on the battery for a few seconds and you are ready to go. Sleep-mode is there to increase the life span of your battery.
No, you don't need a drivers license to ride a Vässla Bike
Yes, all our vehicles are 100% electric.
In France, insurance is included in all Vässla Bike subscriptions. The insurance covers Third-Party Liability and Individual Accidents (if above 10% AIPP - Permanent damage to physical or mental integrity). Vässla Club is our club, including all members that subscribe to Vässla today.
You can choose between 3 different memberships: Urban Flex (1 month commitment period), Urban Pro (6 months commitment period) or Urban Pro 12 (12 month commitment period). Your membership will be renewed automatically unless you cancel, in accordance with our terms and conditions.

Yes, you need to be at least 18 years old to subscribe to Vässla. Please be prepared to show your ID at delivery, and if you're under 18 you will be charged with a fine equal to the amount of the first payment of your subscription.
Yes you can test ride you Vässla before subscribing. Check the test ride page for locations.
Flex gives you the flexibility to cancel whenever you want, you just need to inform our customer service 14 days prior to the end of your subscription month. With Pro 6 and Pro 12 you agree to be with us for 6 or 12 months. For Pro 6 you need to cancel your subscription at the latest 30 days prior to the end of your subscription and 14 days prior to the end of your subscription for Pro12 if you do not want your subscription to be renewed automatically.
Yes there is a possibility to buy the bike after 12 or 24 consecutive months of subscription. Price of the bike is set according to the value of a new product plus value of insurance maintenance, minus payments you made. Reach out to us at hi@vassla.com and we will help you.

Yes! You need to wear a helmet because... safety first!
Don't panic! You need to contact us at hi@vassla.com, to give us some information, report the theft to the police and issue a police report, then attach the police report. After that, we will replace your Vässla. In case of theft there will be a theft fee for your vehicle, you can read more about this in our terms and conditions.
You should email us at hi@vassla.com describe the issue and then we will send you an email to book a date and time for the repair.
Just relax. The battery has a deep-sleep-mode that increases the life-span of the battery. To wake the battery just hold the ON-button in ca 3 seconds to wake the battery again. And yes you can get a new battery if your current one stops working but only if you are a subscribing member.
Yes you can, but we recommend you to use the lock provided by us since it is the most secure one. You can always use more than one lock.
You can prevent your Vässla from being stolen by locking it with the lock provide by us, not leaving the battery inside and parking it at a safe spot.
You can always change from Pro 6 to Pro12 by contacting our customer service but change from PRO12 to PRO6 is not possible.
The deposit is charged at the beginning of your subscription period and you can find the current deposit fees on our website. We reserve the right to deduct any occurring fines or fees such as maintenance fees for damages beyond normal wear and tear, theft or no-show fees from the deposit. If no such fees have occurred during your subscription period we will refund your deposit after the subscription has been terminated and your vehicle has been returned. If you have a Flex subscription, the set up fee will be deducted from the deposit during the sign-up.
You can cancel your subscription one month before the end of your subscription period is over. If you're an Urban Flex member you can cancel 2 weeks before the end of your subscription.

You will get charged on a monthly basis, on the same date you signed-up with us.

Yes, start up fee is to cover the delivery and preparation of your product for the current usage time.
You do not pay a fee if you cancelled according to the cancellation conditions for your plan here you can find more (link to cancellation policy).
The customer is responsible for the fines and must cover the cost of these fines.
Good news! You have 14 days to try the vehicle and decide if that suits you. If the vehicle does not fit you, you can contact us on hi@vassla.com within 14 days and return the product. we will only charge you the set up fee and for days you use the vehicle.
