Your right to claim non-conformity includes products that are defective according to our applicable consumer protection legislation. Customers who want to claim defects in ordered products must contact us as soon as possible after the defect has been discovered via the contact details on the website. Claims of non-conformity made within two months from the time you discover the defect are always considered to have been filed on time. You have a three-year right to claim non-compliance for products purchased on the website. You should always make non-conformity claims as soon as possible to make sure you do not forfeit your rights.
We always reimburse our customers when non-conformity claims have been accepted.
Once a product has been returned and the non-compliance claim has been approved, we will compensate you under the terms of applicable consumer protection law. Our goal is to do this within 30 days of receiving the non-conformity claim, however it may take longer, depending on the type of product. We reserve the right to deny non-conformity claims if the product is not defective under the terms of the applicable consumer protection legislation. We pay the cost of repairs of approved warranty claims. You should always contact our customer service first if a warranty claim occurs. The workshop to which you take your vehicle must contact us before performing any repairs. We do not pay the cost of repairs carried out without our approval. You are responsible for finding a local workshop and for booking your vehicle. You are also responsible for taking your vehicle to a workshop for repair and for picking it up afterwards.
We offer a two year warranty for our mopeds and a 1 year warranty for our scooters. Please note that the warranty for batteries is one year. Please find more information below. The two-year warranty we provide covers manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover engineering or adjustment measures that may be required for installation or in connection with servicing or wear on consumables such as batteries, tyres, brake linings, wires, lamps or other normal wear.
A battery is a consumable product and subject to a one-year warranty. To maximize the battery life, it is important to follow the maintenance advice. Do not forget that batteries need to be maintenance-charged if the vehicle is not used regularly or if you drive less than 10 km each time you start it.
Accessories are covered by a two-year warranty.
Spare parts are subject to a one-year warranty, although it does not include wear parts or workshop hours, which are subject to a three-month warranty. The warranty for batteries is three months, except batteries for electric bikes, which are subject to a one-year warranty.
The warranty does not cover:
Faults or damage caused by incorrect product usage, incorrect installation/adjustment/configuration or insufficient maintenance or service. If a vehicle has been adjusted, if parts have been changed from their original design or if parts other than the original ones have been used. Vehicles used for commercial purposes.
