Vässla introduces revolutionary electric scooter in collaboration with Teenage Engineering

Swedish electric mobility company Vässla announces the upcoming release of its groundbreaking new electric scooter, developed in collaboration with Teenage Engineering - one of the world’s leading tech and design companies. Together, we strive to not only exceed expectations but also to set a new standard for what electric vehicles can be.

 

The new scooter is codenamed "EPA" (Swedish for “En Passar Alla” meaning  "One fits all"). It's a versatile platform designed for diverse needs. From joyrides to practical commutes (which of course also should be fun). It is built for personalized modifications and accessories, transforming it into an unique ride for each individual.

 

This partnership is a fusion of technical expertise and design philosophy to create a scooter that is both technically advanced and visually striking.

 

With a focus on versatility, the scooter offers customizable options through multiple attachment points, allowing users to personalize their ride with various accessories.

 

Users can choose between Class 1 (max 45 km/h) and Class 2 (max 25 km/h) configurations to suit different riding needs and regulations.

 

The newly developed batteries have significantly improved battery life for longer journeys.

 

Featuring a 2600W motor, advanced control unit with Bluetooth connectivity, and multiple starting options including key card, remote control, and traditional key.

 

We pioneer a new business model where customers purchase the scooter and lease the battery, ensuring access to the latest battery technology without the expense of replacements. Release in Q3 2025.

 

The scooter aligns with our vision of a brighter future and sustainable urban transportation with an emphasis on reducing emissions and promoting cleaner urban environments. 

 

Vässla is also introducing a new expanded service program, ensuring excellent support and maintenance for all Vässla owners.
